S.01 - Section Properties
Description
This module is used to create outlines of sections (with voids) and place reinforcement and tendons. It uses standard libraries of shapes as well as parametric shapes and user defined shapes. It then calculates section properties in accordance with the Eurocodes.
It is the basic building block of the SAM suite, because the sections it defines are
used for code checking of reinforced and prestressed concrete sections, and for defining cross
sections of beams, which in turn are used to define longitudinal and transverse members of
bridge decks.
